On behalf of Environment New Jersey, Sierra Club – New Jersey Chapter, New Jersey Highlands Coalition, and New Jersey Environmental Federation, EELC has filed an appeal in the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division, to overturn a decision by the Board of Public Utilities (BPU) that would allow PSE&G and Pennsylvania Power and Light to expand the Susquehanna-Roseland power line.  

Pending the appeal, EELC has partnered with Earthjustice in filing a motion before the Appellate Division to remand the matter back to the BPU in order to consider new information that demonstrates the demand for the transmission line is no longer needed.
